A couple of weeks ago I began UK trainer Dax Moy’s Elimination Diet. I was particularly surprised by the intense headaches I received each night around 8:30, the time at which I would usually drink a diet coke. I didn’t realize how much the caffeine was affecting my body. Other than those cravings, I felt good while eating on the diet; I felt very clean and not bloated or weighed down. Since then, I have noticed that my stomach does not feel good when I grab that super sugary Butterfinger or other chocolate-y candybar as a special treat. Product Review: American Beauty Foundation July 28, 2006
After my bottle of Clinique liquid foundation ran out, I went au naturale for about a week before I broke down (at about the same time that I broke out) and resolved to pick up some new foundation immediately. While I wasn’t unhappy with the Clinique foundation, I wasn’t loyal to it, either. I was ready to move on and continue the quest for the perfect foundation. I did a little bit of online searching and found MakeupAlley, a site full of useful make up reviews. MakeupAlley is now one of my permanently bookmarked favorites.
