I use the light shade which is really too light for me but since there is only a small amount of covering up flaws, what it really does for me is brighten my skin. I apply it by putting a pea size amount in my hands rubbing them together and spreading it all over my face. After I apply it, I then VERY lightly dust my skin with Bare Minerals powder. I use the Bare minerals on the areas that need a little more coverup and then quickly and lightly blend it over my whole face. When I am finished I have a bright flawless moist looking complextion without looking greasy, or matted and the Burts Bees helps protect it all day. I do not have clogged pores from this and I love this product. I use Burt Bees tinted moisturizer every morning.
